Your Personal Golf Notebook
Members of FairGolfMatch.Com can access a personal golf notebook to keep any kind of golf information they desire to keep. You can keep thoughts and ideas about your golf swing, note equipment changes and ideas, record the phone number of the girl driving the refreshment cart, make notes about golf stores, etc. Your personal golf notebook is a perfect way for you and your golf instructor to monitor and chart your progress over time.
Entries can be categorized by subject to help you keep your thoughts organized. Only you can see your notebook entries. No other golfer from your club, no visitor, and and administrator can see your notebook entries unless you give them your login name and password.
Notebook Subjects
FairGolfMatch.Com maintains a list of default Subjects for your notebook entries. These Subjects are possible notebook headings we think might be of interest to most golfers. In addition to the default Subjects provided by FGM, each golfer can add their own Subjects to this list that may be used in their personal golf notebook.
To Add A New Subject
Type the new Subject name in the box below your current list of Subjects, Click the "Add Subject" button and your new Subject is added to your personal list. No other FairGolfMatch.Com user can see your list of Subjects or any of your notebook entries.
To Edit A Subject
Click the "Edit Subject" button next to the Subject you want to change. Make your changes, then click the "Change Subject" button.
Notebook Entries
When you select the "Notebook" button from the menu at the left of the FairGolfMatch.Com screen, you will see a list of your previous notebook entries. The note portion of each entry is shown in its entirety. You can edit existing Notebook entries and make new Notebook entries.
To Make A New Notebook Entry
Select a Subject from the selection box at the "Add New Note Here" portion of the notebook screen. Type in your note in as much detail as needed, then click the "Add Note" button.
Notebook entries can contain hard returns and can be up to 32,000 characters in length. The notebook is not meant to be your personal blog, so please try to keep entries short and to the point. No other FairGolfMatch.Com user, including the System Administrator, can see any of your notebook entries.
To Edit A Notebook Entry
Select a Subject from the Notebook and click the "Edit" button. Type or change your note in as much detail as needed, then click the "Change Note" button. You can return to the list of Notebook entries without making a change by clicking the "Return To Note" button, or you can delete the selected Notebook entry by clicking the "Delete This Note" button.
